There will be a bulb planting party and service project held at the Holt Family Homestead with the surrounding neighborhood on November 1, 2025. Bulb planting will start at 10:00 am. Some bushes will be donated by Schmidt’s Nursery and people can bring their own bulbs, organic matter, soil, and other things to help plant bulbs around the Homestead.

Also, a new Holt family website is coming that will provide a new home for the Samuel E Holt Farmstead Foundation as well. This foundation is being headed by Denise Allen with a goal to improve and restore the Homestead and begin to have events and other activities. More information to come!
